I remember when I was 3 years old and our long drives up to our cottage. We passed many things on our long journey north one of the things we passed being a ski hill. Seeing I looked out the window to see many people going down hills and I thought it looked like fun to try. So after a few weeks my dad and I went over to the ski hill so my dad could teach me. We started on the bunny hill learning the basics such as the snow plow, how to turn, and of course how to get up after you have fallen on the hill. It took me that whole weekend and part of the next to master the bunny hill without falling down. After successfully going down the bunny hill with out falling my dad decided that it was time to start taking me on bigger hills. So we went down bigger hills that were marked to be easy. As the years have passed and I have skied longer I am now able to go down more difficult hills, but me being able to ski would not have happened if my dad did not take the time to teach me how to ski.

Hey Colin! Back then you must have been proud to make down the first hill. Do you think your good at skiing now? I know it's not the easiest thing to do in the world. I like how you have your blog set up. A little suggestion, you can consider adding videos to whatever your posting about. Also, you try to add more tabs for different subjects. So far this is a very good blog. Also, how much do a good pair of ski are? Keep up the good work on your blog.

Hey Colin! That sounds really fun to go skiing like that. I've only gone skiing once and it was when the whole sixth grade at Chippewa went. At least I think it was the whole sixth grade. It could have just been Mr. Shufelt's classes since he was the one setting up the whole field trip. But it was really fun. Did you go on that field trip? Did you learn how to ski before or after then? Do you go skiing often? Leave a Reply. |
